As the start of the school year approaches, the Ministry of Preschool and Primary Education (MEMP) has officially announced the holding of a pedagogical day for reflection and consultation.
In a press release issued in Cotonou on September 4, 2026, the ministerial authority stated that the event will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

This preparatory day is intended for all teachers and educators who fall under the jurisdiction of the ministry, which explicitly includes those aspiring to become teachers.
To ensure the smooth running of this event, participants will gather at designated sites within each school district, specifically identified by the District Education Officer (CCS).
The Departmental Directors of Early Childhood and Primary Education (DDEMP) and the CCS (Community Child Support centers) have been instructed to take all necessary measures to ensure the success of this preparatory activity.
