The draw for the group stage of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup was held this Friday in Poland. Also in the running for the Grail, Benin has been drawn into Group A with the host nation Poland, Argentina, and Mexico.

Benin’s fate is now sealed. Qualified for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals for the first time in their history, the U-20 Amazons know their opponents for the world tournament. The Benin women have been drawn into Group A, alongside Poland (the host nation), Argentina, and Mexico. A big challenge for the Benin team that will try to advance at least beyond the group stage.
The U20 Amazons will kick off on September 5, 2026 against Mexico. They will then face Argentina on September 8 in the second matchday before taking on the host nation Poland on September 11 for the third and final matchday.
