Two people were apprehended in Tori-Bossito after attempting to fraudulently sell a pineapple field belonging to a third party.

The arrest took place recently, following a complaint filed by the rightful owner of the land.
According to the findings of the investigation, the two suspects allegedly presented themselves as the owners of the pineapple field located in the locality, with the intention of selling it to a buyer for a fee.
Alerted by residents to this suspicious transaction, the rightful owner reported it to local authorities before the sale could be finalized.
The security units dispatched to the scene arrested the suspects, who were taken to the police station for the investigation.
Interrogations will help determine each person’s responsibilities, as well as the exact motivations behind this maneuver to illegally appropriate land.
Furthermore, the case has been forwarded to the competent judicial authorities to determine the appropriate course of action regarding these acts, which could be described as an attempted fraud or fraudulent misappropriation of another person’s property.
