The Nigerian singer categorically dismissed the idea of a conflict with the afrobeat star. When directly questioned about his relationships with other artists in the industry, he described the information circulating about him as mere rumors.

« These are just rumors. Oh my God, these are just rumors! From the beginning, I have never had any problems with the artists. I mean, I have immense respect for the pioneers », said Rema. The artist also emphasized his mindset and priorities. « I am not looking for trouble. I just want to make good music, I don’t want to fight », he added.
