Real Madrid: José Mourinho unveils his squad for the trip to Espanyol
Real Madrid open their La Liga season on Saturday away at Espanyol. For this first official outing, José Mourinho has called up a squad that includes Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and new signing Yan Diomandé.

José Mourinho has unveiled the squad selected for Real Madrid’s trip to Espanyol on Saturday at the RCDE Stadium. For his first official match since returning to the Madrid bench, the Portuguese coach will be able to call on several of his key players. Up front, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappé are both included, as is Yan Diomandé. The attacking options will also include Brahim Diaz and C. Espí.
In midfield, Mourinho has called up Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Arda Güler and Bernardo Silva. Cestero and Alexis Ciria round out the squad. Madrid’s defence will notably be represented by Antonio Rüdiger, Ibrahima Konaté, Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Marc Cucurella and Denzel Dumfries.
