Horoya AC qualified for the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League by defeating JS Saoura 3-1 on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Conakry. The Guinean club overturned a 1-0 defeat from the first leg, advancing with an aggregate score of 3-2.
The Conakry side entered this return leg needing to recover from the 1-0 loss to JS Saoura on September 4. This time, Horoya scored three goals in front of their home crowd while conceding just one, a result sufficient to turn the tie in their favor.
