From now on, all construction projects undertaken without a building permit will be systematically halted. This policy of strict enforcement, championed by Mayor Ferdinand Yaou Bokossa, aims to prevent major risks associated with technical violations, including the threat of collapse of non-compliant structures.

The stated objective is to ensure strict adherence to current urban planning regulations in order to guarantee the safety of the population.

The enforcement measures implemented go beyond simple work suspensions. Construction sites found to be in violation face strict coercive measures, including the sealing of premises.

In the most serious cases, characterized by major irregularities or completely illegal constructions, authorities may issue demolition orders.

In the face of this zero-tolerance policy, property owners and developers are urged to urgently regularize their administrative status by completing all required formalities before considering the continuation or launch of their housing projects.
