Benin: SBEE announces electricity disruptions in several localities next Wednesday and Thursday

Temporary power outages and disruptions are expected on Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23, 2026, in several localities across the country.

The technical interventions will mainly take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the targeted areas.

Impacted Localities and Departments

The maintenance work will affect several regional directions and municipalities in the country:

• Cotonou: The neighborhoods of Adjaha, Fidjrossè, Dédokpo, Adjvi, Sinsin, and their immediate surroundings.
• Atlantique: The sectors of Sokouhoué, Tandji, Zopah, Zènonvèssou, Womey, Tankpè, Adjagbo, Fifadji, Hêvié, and the surrounding areas.
• Borgou: The localities of Ansèkè, Ouesse, N’Para, Boura, Bessassi, and their outskirts.
• Zou: The areas of Agatogbo, Avlamè, Ahomadégbé, Atchoukouma, Kpodji, Houawé, Agonlin-Houégbo, and Atchonsa.
• Mono-Couffo: The perimeters of Adroconou, Tchamévi, Mèdétokpo, Aïvè, Dévou, Douimoulou, Tokanou, Adjomè, Lissazounmè, Doutou, and Ahomé.
• Alibori: The sectors of Kandifo, Bèyroubou, Lougou, Pamal, Ségnana, Banikoara, Soroko, and Lagbara.
• Donga: The locality of Bariénou.
• Ouémé-Plateau: The perimeters of Tankon, Fangni, Wini, Sakéti, Yoko, Davi, and Dargounou.
• Atacora: The municipalities and areas of Natitingou, Kouandé, and Kérou.
• Collines: The axes of Louin, Foun Foun, Djègbadji, Logbo, Vèdoko, Agoloko, Kpankou, and Goblixomè.
