AC Milan: Luka Modric confirms his desire to return to Real Madrid
After more than a decade spent at Real Madrid, Luka Modric has not completely closed the Madrid chapter. Now at AC Milan, the 2018 Ballon d’Or openly expresses his wish to one day return to the Spanish club, which he still considers his “home.”
AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric has confirmed his wish to return to Real Madrid in the future. The 2018 Ballon d’Or left the Madrid club in the summer of 2025, at the end of his contract, to join AC Milan. Now in his second season in Italy, the legendary Croatian international does not rule out a return to the Spanish capital, where he spent more than a decade.
Deeply attached to Real Madrid, Modric still considers the club his “home” and would like to return there one day. “ Real Madrid is my home and I would like to return there one day”, he said.
