The duo notably played a decisive role in the victory of Okan Buruk’s men over Liverpool FC (1-0), on Tuesday, in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 played at RAMS Park.
From the 7th minute of play, Osimhen stood out by delivering the decisive pass to Lemina for the only goal of the match. However, the Gabon international has rubbed shoulders with several renowned scorers during his club career. But for him, none reaches the level of Galatasaray’s current spearhead. “I’ve played with forwards such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gonzalo Higuaín, André-Pierre Gignac, or Radamel Falcao, but there is no one like Victor Osimhen. He is unique in his own right.”, Lemina said in an interview with Djibril Dramé.
