Security control operation in Benin: the Republican Police steps up vigilance
The Republican Police carried out a large-scale security operation across the entire territory, according to information reported by Le Matinal.

The operation was launched in several sensitive areas to prevent criminal acts and to strengthen surveillance during hours considered critical.
The units involved stepped up identity checks and vehicle searches. The effort aims to detect possible suspicious behavior, as well as to secure heavily trafficked roadways.
Law enforcement covered strategic points and intensified their presence around public areas.
The operation is part of a broader strategy to combat crime. It reflects the authorities’ desire to maintain constant vigilance in the face of security risks.
Officials from the Republican Police say these targeted raids will continue in the coming days to ensure a peaceful climate.
No major incidents were reported during this operation. Security forces praise the cooperation of the public, whose attitude contributed to the smooth conduct of the operations.
