Benin: Honorat Gbondjinon Appointed Director General of SONEB Honorat Gbondjinon has been appointed as the new Director General of SONEB (Société Nationale des Eaux du Bénin), the national water company of Benin.

The new director succeeds Kassim Gbian as head of the state agency. He takes over a strategically important portfolio that faces crucial challenges in optimizing the provision of potable water, both in the city of Cotonou and in the country’s secondary cities.

His mission will be to consolidate the progress made in hydraulic infrastructure, to reduce technical losses, and to complete the modernization projects underway to meet the high expectations of the population regarding water services.
