Official: Ferran Torres signs with PSG
Paris Saint-Germain has its new number 9. A world champion with Spain and scorer in the final against Argentina, Ferran Torres leaves FC Barcelona to join the Parisian club for 45 million euros.

PSG continues its transfer market activity with a prestigious signing. The capital club has officially announced the arrival of Ferran Torres, who has signed until 2031 and will wear the number 9. The Spanish international arrives in Paris after spending four seasons at FC Barcelona. His transfer comes a few weeks after Gonçalo Ramos left for AC Milan, which created a vacant position at the forefront of PSG’s attack.
Arriving in Catalonia in January 2022 from Manchester City, Ferran Torres gradually established himself as a versatile attacking option. Capable of playing on the wings as well as in the center, the 26-year-old finished last season with 21 goals and three assists in 49 appearances. His performances allowed him to gain an edge over Robert Lewandowski in Barcelona’s offensive hierarchy.
World champion with Spain this summer, Torres reunites in Paris with Luis Enrique, whom he worked with on the Spanish national team. His mobility, intelligence in movements, and ability to participate in collective play meet the demands of the Parisian manager. With this signing, PSG has acquired a forward capable of bringing a new dimension to their offensive play. “I am thrilled to start a new adventure at such an ambitious club as Paris Saint-Germain. I want to thank president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos, and coach Luis Enrique for giving me the opportunity to join the team, which I hope will help us win as many trophies as possible,” said the newly signed player, clearly eager to prove himself in the blue and red jersey.
