The campaign’s communication team is led by Dele Alake, Minister of Solid Minerals Development, with Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, serving as co-chair. The team’s composition aims to strengthen the communication strategy surrounding the incumbent president’s candidacy.

Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on Information and Strategy, Sunday Dare, special adviser for media and public communication, Tunde Rahman, senior special assistant for media and special missions, and Felix Morka, national spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, are also part of this team.

Ima Niboro previously served as special media adviser to Goodluck Jonathan before leading the News Agency of Nigeria. His addition to Tinubu’s electoral structure brings in a former presidential communication official who has also worked within the political landscape of Delta State.

This appointment comes as major camps are bolstering their teams for the presidential election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the final list of 18 candidates and running mates on September 12, which includes Bola Tinubu as the candidate for the All Progressives Congress.

According to the current schedule posted by INEC, the presidential election and National Assembly elections are set for January 16, 2027.
