Messi unveils his top 10 young talents to watch for the future of football
Lionel Messi has unveiled the ten players he considers the future stars of world football, as part of Adidas’s new “Messi+10: Season 2” campaign.

A living legend of Argentina and FC Barcelona, now Inter Miami’s star forward, Messi continues to shape the game well beyond the pitch. For this collaboration with Adidas Football, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner drew up a list of young talents destined for a bright future.
Among them are Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool), Andrey Santos and Kendry Páez (Chelsea), as well as Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Brajan Gruda. The 2022 world champion also picked out Nico Paz (Como), Rodrigo Mora (Porto), Mika Godts (Ajax Amsterdam) and Kader Meïté (Stade Rennais).
Two young female players round out the selection: Clara Serrajordi (FC Barcelona) and Lily Yohannes (Olympique Lyonnais). Messi carried out a similar exercise in 2024, when he named Lamine Yamal, Antonio Nusa and Kenan Yildiz among others, confirming his keen eye for spotting tomorrow’s talent.
