Meg Ryan and Jack Quaid share their first red carpet appearance
Meg Ryan and her son Jack Quaid posed together for the first time on a red carpet on Saturday, September 19, in Los Angeles during the opening night of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
This joint appearance is a rarity for the actress and the actor, who is building his own career in Hollywood. Their last widely reported public outing was at a Knicks game in 2017.
The event preceded the museum’s public opening, scheduled for September 22. Founded by filmmaker George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, the institution is dedicated to narrative art, ranging from film to illustration.
Jack Quaid, son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, gained recognition in film with Hunger Games before taking on one of the lead roles in the series The Boys. His mother has previously defended his career against criticism aimed at celebrity children.
In 2015, Meg Ryan also directed her son in Ithaca, where Jack Quaid plays Marcus Macauley.
