Cindy Crawford loses son Presley Gerber, dead at 27

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office has confirmed the death and has opened an investigation to determine the cause. A family representative also confirmed the news to the Associated Press. The Gerbers have requested privacy during this time of mourning.

The cause of death remains undetermined. Additional tests and the ongoing investigation have not yielded any official conclusions, despite preliminary reports surrounding the circumstances of his death.

Presley Gerber began modeling as a teenager. He walked the runway for Moschino at 16 before working with several international brands and agencies, including IMG Models and DNA Model Management.

In recent years, he had spoken publicly about his struggles with mental health and addiction. He framed this openness as a way to help others facing similar challenges, although these factors do not establish the cause of his death.

His sister Kaia Gerber recently mentioned Presley’s candidness on these issues and the influence he had on her own approach to mental health. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have two children, Presley and Kaia.

Presley notably appeared with his mother in a Pepsi commercial that aired during the Super Bowl in 2018. That same year, he posed with Kaia for a Calvin Klein campaign.
