The Economic and Social Council now has its new composition. The appointments announced following the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, concern 117 individuals, divided between the departmental and national levels.

The Economic and Social Council now has its new members. Meeting in Council of Ministers on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the government made appointments within several institutions, including the Economic and Social Council. In total, 117 individuals are affected by this new configuration.

The list includes members appointed at both the departmental and national levels. In each department, the appointments take into account several categories, notably the agricultural sector, crafts, trade and industry, as well as individuals appointed by the National Assembly and the President of the Republic.

At the departmental level, 108 individuals were selected, at a rate of nine per department. At the national level, nine additional members complete the list, including representatives appointed by the President of the Republic, the National Assembly, the employers’ association, the consular chambers, as well as one figure from the arts and culture sector.
