Kandi: body of a man found lifeless in Kossarou, investigation opened to identify the victim

Once informed, a delegation made up of several administrative and security authorities travelled to the scene. The head of Kandi 2 district, Arouna Djibril, the Kossarou neighbourhood delegate, the deputy police commissioner of Kandi 2, and an on-duty doctor went to the site to carry out the legal findings and arrange the transfer of the body to the morgue.

At this stage of the investigation, the exact causes and circumstances of the death remain undetermined.

Official identity unknown, but a familiar face to local residents

Initial findings did not establish the victim’s formal identity, as no identification papers were found at the scene. However, the man was a familiar figure to residents of the area.

Living in a large compound for more than two years, he worked there as a tutor for children and was commonly nicknamed «Aller Barca».

The owner of the property has not yet been located by investigators. The Republican Police’s investigation continues in order to locate the deceased’s relatives and shed full light on this tragedy.
