This resumption of activity comes just over three months after the passing of Beverly Afaglo. The Ghanaian actress died on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42. Her death caused a strong emotional response within the Ghanaian film and showbiz community, while Choirmaster paid numerous tributes to the woman with whom he had shared his life since their marriage in 2012.

Over the weeks, the singer had already hinted at the difficulty of this period. In June, he explained on Instagram that the healing process would be challenging, while expressing his desire to remain strong. His return in front of the cameras now fits within this continuity: music is gradually becoming a space for work and personal expression once again.

For now, Choirmaster has not revealed the title of the track, its release date, or the specific details of the filmed project. The released footage mainly highlights his return to creation, without officially announcing a single or an album.

The musician had accompanied Beverly Afaglo to her final public tributes. The actress’s funeral was held on August 8 at the State House in Accra, attended by relatives and several figures from the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

A few weeks later, Choirmaster reappears in an artistic context. The shared content does not yet provide any release schedule, but it confirms that the singer has resumed work on a music video shoot.
