Galatasaray: Didier Drogba salutes the supporters’ tribute to Victor Osimhen

Ahead of the Champions League clash against Liverpool FC, Galatasaray fans unfurled an emotional tifo in tribute to Victor Osimhen’s late mother, a gesture praised by the club’s former legend, Didier Drogba.

The former Chelsea FC striker, Didier Drogba, made a point of praising Galatasaray supporters’ gesture toward Victor Osimhen, on the occasion of a particularly moving tribute paid to the Nigerian forward. Ahead of the Champions League match played on Tuesday against Liverpool FC, the Istanbul club’s fans unfurled a spectacular tifo in the stands. The giant mural depicted Osimhen beside his daughter as well as his late mother, in an emotionally charged tribute.

A gesture that did not leave Didier Drogba indifferent. The former Ivorian international, who spent the end of his career with Galatasaray and well aware of the fervor of the Cim-Bom supporters, shared the image of the tifo on social media.“I told you, you have an army of lions with you, Victor Osimhen. My condolences and courage”, wrote the former striker.
