Europa League: the quarterfinals bracket

The knockout phase is getting into the thick of things. After the return legs played on Thursday, the eight teams qualified for the Europa League quarter-finals are now known. Among the notable results, Aston Villa fully controlled proceedings against LOSC Lille, winning 2-0 at Villa Park to seal their qualification with authority.

In an all-Italian clash, Bologna came out on top of AS Roma after a high-scoring encounter, sealing their ticket with an aggregate score of 5-4. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest had to go to a penalty shootout to see off FC Midtjylland.
