Iran: President Pezeshkian says he is ready to ‘sacrifice his life’ for the nation.
On the eve of the ultimatum issued by Donald Trump, the Iranian president, Massoud Pezeshkian, has shown his determination amid rising tensions between Tehran and Washington.

The president of Iran, Massoud Pezeshkian, stated this Tuesday that he is ready to ‘sacrifice his life’ for his country. The Iranian head of state made this statement in a post published on his official X account. More than 14 million proud Iranians have already signed up to give their lives in defense of Iran. I too have been, I am, and I will remain ready to give my life for Iran, he wrote.
This stance comes a few hours before the deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump, who urged Tehran to reach a deal before the end of Tuesday. The American leader also warned that ‘an entire civilization will die tonight’ in the absence of an agreement capable of bringing an end to the ongoing conflict.
