The captain of Al-Nassr continues to rack up records. At 41, Cristiano Ronaldo sits at the top of the ranking for players who have played the most matches in UEFA club competitions.

Having represented Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus on the European stage, the Portuguese forward totals 197 appearances, a figure that places him ahead of two goalkeeping legends: Pepe Reina (192 matches) and Iker Casillas (188).

Behind this trio, the continental elite lines up: Paolo Maldini (174), Luka Modrić (173), Xavi Hernández (173), João Moutinho (170), Gianluigi Buffon (167), Robert Lewandowski (167) and Lionel Messi (167).
