Chadwick Boseman: his widow claims to have paid over one million dollars to the actor’s parents

Kevin and Derrick Boseman have initiated legal proceedings to remove Taylor Simone Ledward from her role as the estate’s administrator. They accuse her of insufficient transparency in managing the estate and delays in distributing certain assets.

Chadwick Boseman passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 43, from colon cancer, which he had kept secret for several years.

The actor left no will. A court ruling in 2022 stipulated that the estate would be divided between his widow and his parents.

Kevin and Derrick Boseman are now asking the court to impose a detailed accounting of the estate and to replace Taylor Simone Ledward as administrator. These allegations are contested by the actor’s widow and will need to be resolved in the ongoing legal proceedings.
