Cape Verde&#8217;s Judicial Police announced on Tuesday the arrest of a 34-year-old man, who was stopped on Sunday at Praia&#8217;s Nelson Mandela International Airport in possession of over 608 grams of cocaine upon arrival on a flight from Guinea-Bissau.





According to a statement from the authorities, the highly pure drug was concealed inside the suspect&#8217;s body in the form of 46 capsules.





After appearing before the Praia District Court on Monday, the suspect was remanded in custody.
