Benin: Tiakola announced in Cotonou on December 27 for his African tour

The schedule was unveiled on Monday, September 7, and notably reported by Gabon Media Time. The tour is set to begin in Casablanca on December 5, followed by stops in Kinshasa on the 17th, Abidjan on the 20th, Libreville on the 22nd, and Yaoundé on December 26. Cotonou is scheduled for the following day, December 27.

The Beninese leg coincides with WeLovEya 2026. The official calendar of the Beninese government indicates that the Afro-urban festival will take place on December 26 and 27, 2026, in Cotonou. At this stage, however, the festival’s official website does not yet display its full 2026 program.

A platform specializing in ticket alerts also lists Tiakola in Cotonou on December 27 as part of WeLovEya, while specifying that the sales conditions and prices have not yet been communicated by the organizer.

A long-awaited return to Benin

Tiakola is already familiar with the atmosphere of the major year-end event in Cotonou. The artist was among the headliners of the 2024 edition of WeLovEya, held at Place de l’Amazone. For his Beninese fans, this new date comes as the singer continues his rise in Francophone rap with his blend of rap, melody, and R&B. The announcement of the African tour also includes stops in Dakar on January 2, 2027, and Praia on January 4.
