F1: Isack Hadjar misses a 3rd Grand Prix, Lawson replaces him in Madrid

The Frenchman injured his wrist during training over the summer and had already had to withdraw from the Dutch and Italian Grands Prix. Red Bull believes his recovery is progressing positively but does not yet consider him ready to return to competition.

Hadjar will nevertheless be present in Madrid with the team. Red Bull has chosen to keep Lawson in his seat while Yuki Tsunoda continues his replacement at Racing Bulls, where he will team up with the British Arvid Lindblad.

Lawson had taken Hadjar’s place at Zandvoort and then at Monza. The paddock arrives in the Spanish capital after the Italian Grand Prix won by Kimi Antonelli at Monza.

The Madrid event inaugurates the new MadRing circuit for the Spanish Grand Prix. Hadjar will therefore have to wait at least one more race before returning to her seat in the second half of the season.
