Benin: 26 accident cases recorded in one day

Benin’s roads continue to claim victims. On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 26 traffic accident cases were recorded across the entire national territory, according to figures released by Bip Radio.

The emergency services also made a total of 40 interventions that day, including medical emergencies and other various situations.

This toll marks a noticeable increase from the previous day, Monday, June 23, where 18 accidents had been recorded. This increase in just 24 hours raises questions about road safety and the vigilance of road users.
