Ayra Starr partners with Instagram to showcase her fans
Ayra Starr has teamed up with Instagram to feature her fans’ posts on her own profile. Announced on Thursday, September 10, 2026, the initiative coincides with a new feature on the social network: the ability to display photos or videos in which users have been tagged directly on their main grid.
The Nigerian singer will select, for a limited time, certain content shared by her admirers that mention her. These posts will appear alongside her own photos and videos, rather than being confined to the tagging tab.
The selected photos and videos will remain hosted on their creators’ accounts. Their presence on the star’s profile serves as a highlight, allowing fans to showcase their content without needing to repost it.
The addition is not automatic. The tagged individual chooses which content they wish to display from the notification received, the post menu, or their tagging tab. They can later remove it from their grid without deleting the original post.
