Atlético Madrid 4-0 Osasuna: Colchoneros climb to podium ahead of derby

Jonathan David opened the scoring in the 24th minute. Lee Kang-in doubled the lead in the 54th minute, Robin Le Normand added a third goal in the 63rd minute, before Álex Baena sealed the score at 4-0 in the 82nd minute.
The Canadian forward also provided the assist for Lee Kang-in’s goal. His performance sparked a match that was largely controlled by Diego Simeone’s team, who imposed a high tempo and created numerous chances in front of Aitor Fernández’s goal.
This victory brings Atlético’s record to four wins, one draw, and one loss after six matches. With 13 points, the Madrid club is now just two points behind Barcelona and Real Madrid, who both have 15 points before the day’s matches conclude.
Atlético’s next fixture is the derby against Real Madrid, scheduled for Sunday. Osasuna remains at seven points after six matches, with two wins, one draw, and three losses.
