Territorial administration in Benin: list of secretaries general appointed in the prefectures

Only the Atlantique department escapes this extensive reshuffle that is reshaping the face of decentralized administrative management.

Through these appointments, the executive renews an essential link that guarantees the daily continuity of public action between the central government and the territories.

Thus, Isaac Guéra Yarou takes the reins of administration in Alibori, while Bèdé Prudence N’Po Kouyinampou is appointed in Atacora and Yazizou Idrissou settles at the head of the administrative secretariat of the Borgou department. The strategic Littoral department, which houses the economic capital Cotonou, is assigned to K. D. Gaston Sossou.

In total, eleven valuable executives inherit this strategic position, crucial for the proper functioning of the decentralized state services throughout the national territory, from Alibori to Zou.
