“You’re forcing me to have sex with you,” Régina Daniels accuses Ned Nwoko of rape and false imprisonment
The famous Nigerian actress Régina Daniels made disturbing revelations on social media. She accuses her husband, senator and businessman Ned Nwoko, of domestic violence, marital rape and false imprisonment.
In a long, distressing post, Régina Daniels said she is living a “marital ordeal” with her husband Ned Nwoko. The 25-year-old actress, known for her roles in Nigeria’s Nollywood film industry, openly accuses her husband, 64-year-old Ned Nwoko, of having forced her to have sex with him several times against her will.
“Why don’t you tell them how you force me to have sex with you when I say no?”, she writes, denouncing a relationship marked by coercion and domination. According to her statements, Ned Nwoko also confiscated her phones, locked her up several times and labeled her “mentally unstable” whenever she expressed the desire to end their union.
A spiral of humiliation and psychological control
In her message, the actress also mentions injections of medications meant for people with bipolar disorder, administered, she says, on her husband’s orders. She denounces a system of humiliation and control designed to silence her. “You ask doctors to inject me with medication just because I no longer want to be with you”, she confides.
Régina Daniels also claims that Ned Nwoko would use mental health as a pretext to publicly discredit her, while orchestrating complete isolation by cutting her off from her family. “You hate that I talk to my family”, she added.
