Europe, Africa and Concacaf delivered their final verdicts on Tuesday night, bringing the number of qualified national teams to 42, while six spots are still up for grabs before the March play-offs.

At least 42 nations are now guaranteed to take part in the 2026 World Cup. On Tuesday night, several major teams booked their tickets, including Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Scotland as well as Panama, Haiti and Curaçao, representing Concacaf.
Spain clinched its spot thanks to a spectacular draw against Turkey (2-2), while Scotland overturned Denmark, which had been reduced to ten men, to win 4-2.
