War in Iran: Kuwait accidentally shot down three American planes.

The Kuwait Ministry of Defense announced this Monday the crash of several American military aircraft on its territory. The information was reported by the Kuwaiti official press agency, which cites a communiqué from the military authorities. According to it, all crew members survived the accident. Kuwaiti services are currently mobilized alongside the American forces for rescue and security operations.

“The Ministry of Defense announces that several American military aircraft crashed earlier today, confirming that all crew members survived the incident.”, the communiqué states. At this stage, neither the exact number of aircraft involved nor the circumstances of the crashes have been detailed.

This episode occurs in a regional context that is particularly tense. The day before, an American military base located in Kuwait was reportedly targeted by a presumed Iranian strike, in retaliation for joint air operations conducted by Israel and the United States against Iranian targets.

According to several regional sources, American installations in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia may also have been targeted by Iranian missile strikes in recent hours.
