Dominant from start to finish, the Nigerians quickly took the lead thanks to Janet Akekoromowei, who scored in the 17th minute, before Alaba Olabiyi doubled the advantage seven minutes later. After the break, Ramotalahi Kareem sealed the victory at the 60-minute mark, confirming the superiority of Moses Aduku’s players.
With three wins from as many matches and a goal difference of +8, Nigeria finished top of the tournament. The team stood out for its attacking efficiency, netting three goals in each match. Akekoromowei and Kareem finished as the competition’s top scorers with three goals apiece, symbols of an irresistible attack. Already assured of the title, the Falconets will play their final match against Benin’s Young Amazons on Wednesday morning, aiming to cap their perfect run with another display.
