U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his willingness to make a future visit to Africa. He confirmed his intention during a brief exchange with journalists at the White House.
“Of course. I would. Absolutely,” said the American leader when asked whether he planned to travel to the African continent during his current term.
Trump is now the second U.S. president in history to return to office after a break in service. He previously held the presidency from 2017 to 2021. During that four-year term, the former president did not make any official visits to Africa.
