Nigerian star Tiwa Savage opened up candidly about her love life and her view on marriage. A guest on the American podcast Air Service, the 44-year-old singer revealed that at this stage in her life, most of the men who could marry her are already married or in their fifties.
“If I meet someone who could really marry me, he’ll either be in his fifties or already married. So, I don’t know… Maybe I could be a second wife,” she confessed frankly.
The performer of Somebody’s Son added that she would see no problem sharing her husband, assuring that she would remain respectful and discreet: “I think the first wife would like me, because I won’t be a problem. I go on tour a lot, I’m not going to stress her out. I’m very respectful.”
Tiwa Savage was married to music director Tunji Balogun, also known as TBillz, from 2013 to 2018. The couple, who had a son, split after mutual accusations of infidelity.
