A light aircraft belonging to the Thai police crashed into the sea on Friday morning near the coastal resort town of Hua Hin, in Phetchaburi province, leaving six people dead, according to local authorities.
The national police stated on social media that the aircraft, which was part of its aviation division, went down shortly after takeoff. All six people on board lost their lives.
The crash occurred during a test flight linked to parachute training. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact causes of the incident.
