Security: The DGPR, Brice Allowanou, participates in INTERPOL’s 93rd General Assembly in Marrakech
The Director General of the Republican Police, Brice Allowanou, has been in Marrakech since Monday, November 24, 2025, to take part in the work of INTERPOL’s 93rd General Assembly.

Discussions are taking place until November 27, 2025, in the Moroccan city, which has become for a few days the world capital of police cooperation.
This annual meeting brings together delegations from the 196 member countries to strengthen coordination mechanisms against contemporary forms of crime.
INTERPOL, headquartered in Lyon, France, plays a central role in sharing sensitive information and supporting cross-border operations, even between states that do not have direct diplomatic relations.
Benin’s participation in this session represents an important step in consolidating international security partnerships. It also paves the way for new collaboration mechanisms, essential in the face of evolving criminal threats.
