Saudi Pro League: Cristiano Ronaldo sets new record with Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo left his mark a little more on the history of Al-Nassr. The captain of the Saudi club became the top scorer in the team’s history in the Saudi Pro League on Friday, thanks to a new goal scored against Al-Taawoun. The Portuguese striker participated in his team’s success (2-1) at home by finding the net. An achievement which allows him to overtake Mohammed Al-Sahlawi, until now record holder with 103 goals in the Saudi championship under the colors of Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo now takes his tally to 104 goals in just 110 Saudi Pro League appearances for the club. A remarkable performance for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who continues to stack records since his arrival in Saudi Arabia. At 41, the Portuguese remains one of Al-Nassr’s main offensive assets and continues his quest for new records. His efficiency in front of goal once again allows him to write his name in the history of the club.

This new brand also confirms the importance taken by Ronaldo since his arrival at Al-Nassr, where he continues to play a major role in the sporting ambitions of the club.
