The former Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp, mentioned the possibility of a return to the Premier League, while saying that he doesn’t miss coaching for now. He left Anfield in the summer of 2024 after nine successful seasons; the 58-year-old German, since replaced by Arne Slot, explained his decision by a deep fatigue accumulated over the years. Now global director of football for Red Bull, Klopp is enjoying a new form of involvement in the sport.
Asked on the podcast Diary of a CEO about a potential return to an English bench, he replied with a touch of mischief: “I said I would never coach a team in England again, which means that if it’s Liverpool, theoretically, it’s possible.” Before adding: “I don’t know exactly, but I love what I’m doing right now. I don’t miss coaching; I do it now, but differently.”
