Odo Marie launches OMtivi with “The Women We Don’t Marry”

Presented in a preview at the Akwaba Event Center, the first part of this new production explores the prejudices surrounding marriage, particularly those directed at women in the public eye. Odo Marie also examines the choices and sacrifices some individuals make to meet social expectations.

The production, announced to run for approximately 55 minutes, will be divided into three parts, each focusing on different themes. Its broadcast began on Saturday, September 12, at 9:00 pm on OMtivi, according to RTI Infos.

The new channel is intended to serve as a digital showcase for O.Movies’ productions. Odo Marie plans to offer series, comedies, talk shows, and other formats while continuing her company’s activities in film and television.

The launch event also featured the “O d’Honneur” awards, a distinction created to honor professionals who have supported O.Movies’ projects. Fortuné Akakpo and other collaborators were recognized in front of guests gathered in Marcory.

Marie-Odile Gondo, known to the public as Odo Marie, gained recognition for her role as Dotty in the series “Les Nounous”. In 2026, she also co-directed the feature film “Y’a braquage au village” with Consty Peursy.
