Noel Gallagher rules out new songs despite Oasis tour

When asked by British radio station talkSPORT about the possibility of a new album, Noel Gallagher responded that there would be no new music. When pressed for further details, he declined to elaborate, without clarifying whether this stance applied only to the upcoming tour or a longer period.

The musician also shared that the decision to hit the road again was made after Oasis’s second concert at Wembley in 2025. According to him, the success of the initial dates and the desire to reconnect with the European audience quickly convinced the band to extend their reunion.

Oasis’s official website confirms 38 concerts in 2027 across the UK, continental Europe, the United States, and Ireland. The series will kick off on May 21 in Glasgow and conclude in September with four nights at Knebworth, the iconic venue of the 1996 concerts.

This statement complements the announcement of the Live ’27 tour, which is already marked by eleven dates in Manchester as well as stops in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, and Las Vegas.

Noel Gallagher remains cautious about the band’s future beyond 2027. When asked if he wished to continue the journey after this tour, he replied that he did not know.
