The second semi-final of FIFA’s Club World Cup sees PSG face off against Real Madrid this Wednesday evening. An unpredictable match between two European giants, favorites for the title. As Champions League winners, PSG heads in as the favorites against the Madrid team, who seem to lack conviction despite stringing together wins.
In a pre-match press conference, Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on this clash of the titans. And the Spanish coach expects a tough match against the Merengues. “This Real Madrid is difficult to analyze,” the Spanish coach admitted on El Larguero’s microphone. “We know they have a huge amount of talent and a great consistency. Xabi Alonso has all the qualities necessary to be successful in a club of this caliber.”
Real Madrid qualified for the final four after a striking victory (3-2) over Borussia Dortmund, while PSG triumphed over Bayern Munich (2-0) in the quarter-finals. The showdown between the two European giants is scheduled for this Wednesday at 8 p.m. (GMT+1) at MetLife Stadium.
