The Autonomous National Electoral Commission carried out, on Monday afternoon in Cotonou, the draw to determine the placement of the political parties’ logos competing in the 2026 municipal elections.
The session, chaired by Sacca Lafia, took place at the institution’s headquarters in the presence of representatives from the various political formations contesting the municipal elections.
According to the CENA’s Communications Department, the operation was held in strict compliance with the established rules, ensuring full transparency and equal treatment among the parties involved in the race for the renewal of municipal councils.
This draw marks a key stage in the electoral calendar and confirms the institution’s commitment to guaranteeing a credible and peaceful vote.
