Liverpool: Steven Gerrard Predicts Mo Salah’s Next Destination
Steven Gerrard has ruled out a transfer of Mohamed Salah to a Premier League rival and is favoring a destination in the Saudi Pro League, while the Egyptian has already confirmed his departure from Liverpool.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard believes that Mohamed Salah should continue his career in the Saudi Pro League as early as this summer. As a guest on The Overlap, in the “Stick to Football” segment, the former Reds captain dismissed Gary Neville’s suggestion of a transfer to a Premier League rival such as Chelsea or Arsenal.
I don’t think he would do that, said Gerrard. I wouldn’t be surprised if he joined another big club abroad, but I don’t see him signing with a rival in England. Drawing on his experience in Saudi Arabia, the English coach prefers another destination: I think it will be Saudi Arabia. Having lived there and seen how respected he is, that’s where I would put my money. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah has already confirmed that he would leave Liverpool at the end of the season, fueling even more speculation about his future.
