According to information from Marca, Lionel Messi is about to take control of CD Eldense. The Argentine is considering acquiring the entire capital of the Spanish club, currently competing in the Segunda División.
The operation would be carried out directly by the player, without the involvement of an investor or a third-party group. Its completion, however, remains subject to the outcome of the preliminary checks related to the transaction.
At 39 years old, Lionel Messi is continuing to diversify within the world of football. After building the majority of his career at the highest level with FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and now Inter Miami, the Argentine world champion could soon take on the role of club owner in Spain.
