Barça has pulled further ahead at the top of LaLiga. Thanks to their 3-1 win over Atlético de Madrid on Tuesday night at the Camp Nou, the Catalan club now has a four-point lead in the standings.
Hansi Flick’s men, who were surprised in the first half by a goal from Álex Baena, turned the match around with authority. Raphinha first got his side back on track before Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty as Barça began to impose their pace.
After the break, Dani Olmo and then substitute Ferran Torres sealed a valuable win against an Atlético that had been on a seven-game winning streak. Real Madrid, away to Bilbao on Wednesday night, will have the chance to come back to within one point with a win.
