International Mobility: Benin launches the campaign “Everything Starts with a Good Start”
The Beninese government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has launched an awareness campaign titled “Everything Starts with a Good Beginning”.

This initiative aims to promote best practices in international mobility among Beninese citizens. The information was reported by Peace FM radio.
Indeed, every year, a large number of Beninese encounter difficulties abroad, particularly visa refusals or expulsions. These incidents are often due to incomplete applications, the use of falsified documents, or the violation of stay conditions. Such situations harm the credibility of the Beninese passport on the international scene.
Launched in May 2025, the campaign is based on three essential pillars: the fight against the falsification of documents, the strict respect of conditions and time limits for stays abroad, and the promotion of registration in the Registry of Beninese Abroad (RBE).
Through this approach, the authorities intend to better inform citizens about the requirements related to international travel, prevent administrative errors, and enhance Benin’s image beyond its borders.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on all citizens and partners to actively relay this campaign, with the aim of encouraging responsible, safe departures that comply with international standards.
